Ye gods, it has been a great year for techno/house/electro so far, despite all that world recession stuff! Here are some of the records I have been digging lately (or my Top 18). i'm not sure how i feel about that Trackleton. it sounds nice enough from the samples, but it feels kind of like "look how i can do all the typical deep house styles" record instead of the guy developing his own sound. i'll have to try to listen to the full tracks before i decide.

very keen to hear the function remix of kitten + hacker.

Levon Vincent is the one to watch in 09!!
