100,000 Not Out
No, it's not a spoof story given the day that's in it, but just a quick post to thank all of you. Perhaps fittingly, as of today, 100,000 people have visited this humble blog over the past 12 months. I would never have thought that obscure electronic music could have generated such interest - if the comments section can be believed, it seems more important to some people than climate change, global poverty and Britney Spears' private life - but the site and what I write about would mean or indeed be anything without your participation. Thanks again...
99,900 of them were me Richard. Must deal with this OCD issue... ;-)

I dunno, I think Britney just edges it... but only just...
always a good read, keep up the good work!

you need more pictures of glamour models with lists of their favourite techno tracks... Seriously though, well done. Excellent read as always.

I take it you mean 100,000 visits? As popular as this place is 100,000 unique visitors seems ludicrous, there are barely 100,000 English speaking techno fans in the universe!

thanks guys. James, the figures are correct, I was a bit surprised too...

If 100,000 is your unique visits, what's your total visits?

gee, and i was pleased with ISM's 36,000 total visits in about 6 months! good job man, congrats!

seriously, there's no way you've had 100,000 unique visits, you'd be getting three or four thousand visitors a day if so, and ten times as many comments.
as johnny said, what's your visits total if 100,000 is your visitors? how many visitors do you get a day?

no worries tom - thanks for the links to the site - always appreciated
'James' - as Rob Hodd might say, 'who taught you math?' to get 100,000 unique visits in 12 months, all you'd need is 273 a day.
By the way, how is the new job in London?

erm, I think you think I'm someone else.
if you got 273 visitors a day and had 100,000 unique visitors, that would mean you had 273 different people visiting every single day, and none of them came back even once.

erm, I think you think I'm someone else. - no, I know exactly who you are 'james'...
if you got 273 visitors a day and had 100,000 unique visitors, that would mean you had 273 different people visiting every single day, and none of them came back even once. - correct, part of the overall total. it interests me why you are so keen to contest this - can you not just take my word for it? or do you have another agenda?
