This week

I have been in a reflective mood, so I have mainly been listening to:

Model 500: 'Classics' LP (R&S)
Sten: 'Squares' 12" (Smallville)
Turner: 'She Was Sent' (Remixes) 12" (Orphanear)
Andy Stott: 'Fine Metallic Dollar' 12" (Modern Love)

But as Pipecock might say, I have also needed to 'rock some shit', so I have also been checking:

MLZ: 'Alice Loop' (Modern Love)
Seldom Felt: 'Catscan' (Seldom Felt)

What has been rocking your world?

When are the new stott and seldom felt records out??????

blatant 'i've got some promos in' post ;)

so how's that sten sounding? i love the samples i've heard around!

'alice loop' is awesome by the way!

Ha, i too just had M500 - Classics out today.
Also floating my boat in the last few days:

Orlando Voorn - High-tech Soul Ep (Finest Blend)
Mike Grant - Its a Detroit Thing (moods n grooves)
Naohito Uchiyama - Green Echoes (fz records)
JTC - Pump the planet (creme)
Paul Ray - My Machine - Fleming Dalum re-edit (Moustache Records)

i just picked up the new Erykah Badu CD today, it's sounding good as hell. i will get the wax when it drops in a couple weeks...........

...new Justus Koehncke album. Lovin' it.

Finally picked up Prosumer and Pronsato albums, both of which I'm enjoying in very different ways.

That MLZ tune is a bomb, to use the vernacular. His Dark Dayz EP was a quality T++ type monster too. When is the new Andy Stott out?

Finally got 2 (very different) tracks I've always wanted on vinyl: Mion's super-deep, percussive techno masterpiece Drop The Filter and the utterly gorgeous house classic that is Roman IV's Altes Testament. Very happy.

Loving the reissue of Indio's Inca EP on Rhythmic Tech too.

just ordered that Indio Inca EP too

picked up the Static 25 EP with the Mike Huckaby remix, beautiful deep dubby techno.

the Prime Numbers EP on Trusme's new label is awesome too, highly recommended

and non-electronic; the new Nigeria Special compilation on Soundway is amazing. a mixture of traditional and fusion sounds from highlife and blues to funk and afrobeat in 70's Nigeria. for those with an open mind, check it out!

Just bought a grip of new/old tracks, here's what's floating my boat right about now:
Above Smoke - Sweet Love (Scott Ferguson Dub)
Bv Dub - Remembering to Forget
Dublee - Body Talk
Ovatow - X Dub II
Nikola Gala - Close 2 U (Estroe remix)

and that Kings of Techno compilation - the Laurent Garnier CD is just really moving stuff.

jig: not sure on the release dates on stott or seldom felt - would say both are out in april

antonio - the sten ep is very good - detroit influenced stuff, one of the tracks reminds me of wiggin' (but in a modern way)

cheers i look forward to hearing them
